Celebrating Merdeka: Growing Together Through Language and Culture 

Every year on 31 August, Malaysians come together to celebrate Hari Merdeka — a time to remember our nation's journey, celebrate our freedom and appreciate the diverse communities that make Malaysia special.

For children, Merdeka is more than flags and celebrations. It is an opportunity to discover Malaysian culture, understand the importance of unity and learn how people from different backgrounds can connect and grow together.

At Dynamic Kids Penang, language and culture are naturally part of the learning experience. With native teachers from different cultural backgrounds, children learn English while being exposed to different perspectives, expressions and ways of communicating.

Learning English Through Culture

Language and culture go hand in hand. When children learn English, they are not only developing vocabulary and grammar — they are also learning how to communicate confidently with people from different backgrounds.
Through conversations, stories and interactive activities, Dynamic Kids Penang encourages children to develop their English communication skills, confidence and curiosity about the world around them.

This Merdeka season, join us for our Dynamic Kids Penang Merdeka Open Day on 29 August 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Krystal Point, Sungai Nibong, Penang.
